About
I write, I travel and sometimes I dig. Born on Wright Patterson Air Force base, I was raised in Italy, England and the U.S. After earning a graduate degree in classical archaeology from Washington University in St. Louis, I traveled with an international team to the island of Ithaka, in search of the legendary palace of Odysseus. Since then I've worked with The Iklaina Archaeological Project, excavating a Mycenaean palace near Pylos. Proud mom of two grown kids, I live with my husband and irascible wire fox terrier, and divide my time between St. Louis, South Carolina and Greece.
