Postcards from the Underworld: A Sinister Wall in Stresa, Italy

A chilly late October morning
Stresa, Italy

Strolling through the streets of this northern Italian town on a lake

we stop for a morning cappuccino

Something across the street catches our eye

A house whose owner collects a number of objects both strange

and sinister...

  1. Sis, I love that picture of you.

I have so been enjoying these postcards. They do seem to hover between more than one dimension ...

    1. Now that's a great idea for a different kind of travel book - hovering between dimensions :))

  3. Some people will collect anything. Not sure if it's a good thing to have such sinister objects hanging on a wall.

  5. I love the village setting of your cappuccino . I fell in love with Italy to my surprise--so much to love, but that setting is a big reason

Those items are secured? Yes? :-) imagine that in Cleveland?!

    Happy trails, Amanda

    1. I didn't want to get close enough to test the security of those vicious looking tools —— but yes, that wall would be one big lawsuit in Cleveland hahaha!!!
