Which Wolf Do You Feed?
An old Cherokee told his grandson,
"My son, there is a battle between two wolves inside us all.
One is fear. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority,
lies and ego.
The other is love. It is joy, peace, hope,
humility, kindness, empathy and truth."
The boy thought it over for while, and
finally asked, "Grandfather, which wolf wins?"
The old man quietly replied,
The old man quietly replied,
"The one you feed."
Wonderful post Amanda. Unfortunately, I feed them both, but will ponder this in the new year.
ReplyDeleteThanks Donna. I've been reading more about mindfulness and feel this quote exemplifies the power of choice.
