I am totally captivated by the "what if, what was, or just plain what" when a historical environment surrounds me...thanks,, I can only imagine viewing these remains, above and below ground level...glenn
We were almost in the same neighborhood: I just returned from a week on Corfu. Visited the remains of the Temple of Hera, among other marvels. Hope you are enjoying your travels.

ReplyDeleteGood to see you Glenn! I feel that way a lot of the time when I'm excavating - asking myself; who lived here? What did they eat, think, feel?
DeleteI adore sitting in old Roman amphitheatres whenever I am lucky enough to come across one.
ReplyDeleteJust curious, Loree, but do they have any on Malta?
DeleteTo sit there where so much history happened....perfection.
ReplyDeleteFor sure, I feel fortunate when I am able to do that :))
