When it's crappy weather outside and the shores of the Mediterranean seem a zillion miles away, that is the time I choose to fantasize about being in Greece, and what might lie beyond this red gate...
Sis, I love how you reach into your imagination to pull out a place that defies the one in which you momentarily find yourself. It's a sort of conjuring.
Lovely photograph!

You make me want to go to Greece. I followed a blog from Oia on Santorini. Perhaps one day.
ReplyDeleteDonna, This photo was taken on Santorini - I do hope you are able to visit some day as it is unforgettable.
DeleteYou have a magic carpet imagination, Amanda, a gift as swell as the ability to step into Hemingway in Paris .
ReplyDeleteI wish Greece for you soon.
Love

ReplyDeleteAnd you lucky lady will be doing just that soon - I look forward to posts about Skiathos!
DeleteI long to dip my toes, and more, in some warm salt seas.
ReplyDeleteFollow wherever the red gate leads, unless it's over a cliff!
ReplyDeleteBlessings and Bear hugs.
Haha - actually it does lead over a cliff!! The photo was taken on Santorini where the houses are built into the edge of an ancient volcanic crater!
