Be You. Be Loved. Belong.

I was out for a run, and after huffing and puffing up a hill, I passed a man on the sidewalk outside a neighborhood church. He watched me for a moment and then called out,

"Keep going - you're almost there!" Almost involuntarily, the words blurted out of me,

"I know it.....thank you."

A few days later, I ran by the same spot and saw this sign....

The Universe has a lovely way of reminding us what matters.

  1. I recently learned that the English words "believe" and "beloved" are connected via a common etymology. There's a key to life in there, somewhere, I think... :-)

  2. Wow! Yes, indeed, there are connections all over, and we just need reminders.

  3. Yes, sometimes we find reminders in the most unlikely of places and sometimes they seem to fall right out of the school and hit us full blast.

  6. Marvellous thoughts. And serendipitous. All you have to do is keep your eyes and mind open — which is kinda like what erin was saying.

    Blessings and Bear hugs!

  7. I'm so happy to receive this. I have just been reminiscing about my childhood, much of it in church, and it did not express this freedom!

  9. I love when we get messages like this!
It's a good sign too that we are paying attention
    and aware of the moment.
