Liquid Tourism

Of all the gin joints in the world, you walk into mine...

It's 2 o'clock in Lisbon. People are standing around drinking cherry brandy in the streets.

Some maybe enjoying it a little too much

As the saying goes, if you can't beat em, join em.

Bottoms up!

  3. Currently I live in a dry county. Yes, those still exist in society today, and really no deterrent to alcohol in any way. I love this scene of people relaxing and enjoying a drink together. The brandy looks wonderful and nothing like an afternoon libation:)

  4. I'm your vicarious bud for this trip! You make the decisions and I'll tag along. An afternoon of sidewalk drinking? Why yes, lovely, of course!

    Enjoy Amanda. :-)

  12. Cherry Brandy was a drink of my late teens, like Cherry Cola. So sweet. I have not tasted it in decades. Love your photos, lots of stmosphere .... and that entry line is so great! Minerva x
